The first thing that you should do is to try and stimulate your brain at all times. Keeping your brain active and working will help stimulate new connections between the nerve cells. It is even possible to generate new cells, as well as help against future cell loss!

Mind your blood sugar, blood pressure, and cholesterol

Abnormally high blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol can affect your brain health. Make sure to these as normal as possible by staying lean, reducing stress, exercising regularly,  and eating right.

High blood sugar can lead to diabetes, which can then lead to dementia eventually. Keep it at normal levels so you would not have to take medication for it. Remember, taking care of your body is a huge must if you want to keep dementia at bay.

Do not be afraid to come to a doctor and ask for help if need be. You can also ask them if you can take supplements to keep your brain young and healthy. However, the most effective ways would still be to eat right, exercise, avoid bad habits, and take good care of your body at all costs.
